Service Providers and Statewide Organizations

Lewis Law Firm represents a number of clients who contract with the state of Oklahoma to provide needed services. The firm also represents statewide organizations composed of provider agencies. Under the Oklahoma Constitution and laws service providers are private for-profit or not-for-profit businesses or agencies and individuals that contract with a state agency to perform services in lieu of the state’s performing them itself. Such activities are subject to the terms of the state contract and to oversight by a state agency. Steve has represented clients in contract negotiations, consultation with agencies, conflicts that grow out of the state’s oversight function and in lobbying the legislature and/or the agency regarding policy issues.
